Kevin Clark is a photographer based in Durham, NC. He first picked up a camera in 2013, following nearly two decades as an active musician. What began as the pursuit of a long-standing interest soon became his focus and primary creative outlet. His approach to photography is tantamount to the self-taught DIY punk ethos he employed as a musician; learning his craft through experience and experimentation, and creating work that emphasizes connection, emotion, thought, and imagination. Over the past decade, he has created album art and press photos for several musicians, provided product photography for an array of businesses, taken portraits and professional headshots for people from various backgrounds, and displayed his landscape and abstract work at local galleries.
